The Ideathon & Pitchfest (I&P Track), a flagship initiative of the IEEEReturning Mothers Conference (IEEE RMC) in partnership with the iExplore Foundation, serves as a collaborative platform that empowers innovators, professionals, homemakers, and students to transform ideas into meaningful impact.
 
More than a conventional competition, the I&P Track fosters creativity, innovation, and social entrepreneurship by providing participants with the opportunity to explore, develop,and present solutions that address real-world challenges. Whether individuals are reviving their careers, nurturing innovative concepts, or aspiring to create socially driven ventures, the program offers a supportive environment for growth and learning.
 
Through expert mentorship, structured guidance, and curated pitching opportunities, participants are encouraged to refine their concepts into sustainable, scalable, and impactful initiatives capable of creating lasting change.

  • No Gender Prejudice – Ensure respectful, inclusive ideas.
  • Use the official abstract template from the portal.
  • Submit one abstract per team (create separate accounts for additional ideas, if allowed by organizers).
  • Check the portal for any updates or deadline changes.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE ?

  • Open to participants from all age groups.
  • Teams may consist of up to 4 members (1 Team Leader and up to 3 TeamMembers).
  • Individuals from all backgrounds are encouraged to participate with inclusive andunbiased ideas.

What You’ll Need Before You Start?

  • Team Leader’s Name andEmail ID (for registration and official communication)
  • Team Name (optional but recommended)
  • Selected Theme from the available categories
  • Title and brief description of the proposed idea
  • Team Member details including name, email, role, and organization/city
  • Completed Abstract Template downloaded from the portal

How to Submit Your Abstract (Step-by-Step)

  1. Go to Portal: https://ideathon.ieeereturningmothers.in/
  2. Team Leader: The Team Leader must create an account by completing the registration process.
  3. Log In: Log in using the registered credentials.
  4. Download Template: Download the official Abstract Template from the portal and complete it offline.
  5. Start New Abstract: Click on “New Abstract” to begin the submission.
  6. Enter Details:Enter the required details including title, summary, theme, and team memberinformation.
  7. Upload Abstract:Upload the completed abstract template in the accepted format.
  8. Submit:Review all details and submit the abstract. A confirmation email will besent uponsuccessful submission.

Phase 1

Abstract Submission

Submit your idea using the official abstract template available on the portal.
All entries will be evaluated based on originality, feasibility, and potential impact. Shortlisted teams will be announced following the review process..

Phase 2

Mentorship & Workshops

Shortlisted teams will be paired with mentors for guidance and feedback.
Workshop 1: Open to all participants – focused on idea validation and presentation skills.
Workshop 2/ Panel Discussion: Exclusive for shortlisted teams – expert insights to prepare for finals.

Phase 3

Final Pitchfest

Finalists present their ideas to a panel of investors, leaders, and experts.
Winning teams are selected based on innovation, scalability, and social impact.

Phase 4

Results & Recognition

Winners, runners-up, and women-led teams are recognized.
Certificates and prize money are awarded to participants.
